You will design your ad on the website, which will be directly imported into the yearbook – nothing needs to be sent to Wheaton Academy. Yearbook ads can be purchased until May 1, 2026. In past years, a free yearbook was included with the purchase of an ad. Please note that Jostens has changed its policy and no longer includes a free yearbook with ad purchase, so yearbooks will need to be purchased separately. You can purchase a yearbook using the same link as the link to the ads. Please contact Ms. Rusthoven with any questions (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org). Thanks!

Senior Picture Submission
Parents of Seniors, Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook. For their senior year, students are able to choose a photo that they would like to submit to the yearbook as their senior portrait. Your student may have chosen to take their senior picture with Prestige over the summer or they may have had their photos taken through a different company. Either option is perfectly fine, but each requires different steps for submitting their photo.

If your student chose to take their photos with Prestige, Prestige will ask you which photo you would like to select for the yearbook and it will automatically be sent to us. If this is the option your student chose, please simply select the photo you want submitted to the yearbook, and no further action is needed. You are all set!

If your student had their photo taken with a different company, that is perfectly fine as well. However, since Wheaton Academy does not work directly with other companies, you will need to submit your chosen photo to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. Once you have sent in your student’s photo, you are good to go!

Please keep a few things in mind when selecting the photo you plan to submit to the yearbook:

  1. Please do not send in a cropped or altered photo. Our system will not allow us to import a screenshot or cropped photo. Please make sure to send the original photo via email to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. Please send the photo as a file, not a link. Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your students face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background. Due to the dimensions of the yearbook photo frame, all photos will be cropped from the shoulders up. You are welcome to send in a full body photo, but please understand that given the dimensions of the frame, it will need to be cropped. Please do not crop the photo before sending it as the program will not allow us to upload it. We will crop it when we import it.
  3. When emailing your student’s photo, please include their first and last name.

All photos must be submitted by December 19, 2025.

Off-Campus Learning Day, Monday, September 8
Once again this year, we are excited to provide our students with the opportunity to participate in Off-Campus Learning Days. These days afford our students time for uninterrupted learning on days they typically would have off for in-service/teacher conferences. Additionally, our Off-Campus Learning Days will prepare our students to seamlessly continue in their classes during snow/inclement weather days.

Our first Off-Campus Learning Day this year will take place on Monday, September 8. Students should plan to allocate the same amount of time for schoolwork as they would for a traditional on-campus day (approximately 7 hours). Teachers will make expectations clear to our students, and they will be able to access all work via OnCampus.

2025 Todd Beamer Golf Outing & Auction
Each year, this event honors the heroic sacrifice of Todd Beamer ’87 and supports the Warrior Fund—keeping Wheaton Academy excellent and accessible. Alongside this year’s golf outing, we’re launching our online auction with exciting new items! Anyone can bid—you do not need to golf in the outing to participate in the auction. Show your support of the Warrior Fund — Click here to VIEW items and BID NOW! Bidding is open until 6:00 pm on September 8!

Senior Picture Submission
Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook. For their senior year, students are able to choose a photo that they would like to submit to the yearbook as their senior portrait. Your student may have chosen to take their senior picture with Prestige over the summer, or they may have had their photos taken through a different company. Either option is perfectly fine, but each requires different steps for submitting their photo.

If your student chose to take their photos with Prestige, Prestige will ask you which photo you would like to select for the yearbook, and it will automatically be sent to us.

Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward-facing, clear picture of your student’s face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background. Due to the dimensions of the yearbook photo frame, all photos will be cropped from the shoulders up. You are welcome to send in a full body photo, but please understand that, given the dimensions of the frame, it will need to be cropped. Please do not crop the photo before sending it, as the program will not allow us to upload it. We will crop it when we import it.
  3. When emailing your student’s photo, please include their first and last name.

All photos must be submitted by December 19, 2025. Please reach out to Miss Rusthoven with any questions (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org). Thanks!

Textbook Acquisition for the 2025-2026 School Year
Families are responsible for purchasing or renting books for their student(s). Wheaton Academy has worked with our bookstore company, eCampus, to provide each family a convenient option to purchase or rent books.

Families can shop for each student’s books using eCampus’ “Shop by Schedule” option on their website. Then, eCampus will ship the purchased or rented books directly to each family’s home. Here are some important things to note:

  • All books must be shipped to your home, not Wheaton Academy.
  • You must use your student’s Wheaton Academy email (lastname@walearner.org) to order books.
  • If you have more than one student at Wheaton Academy, you will need each student’s email and must log in separately for each student, as their schedule information automatically populates the customized booklist through their email.
  • For details steps on how to order books, click here.

We are so excited to welcome you and your student to campus in the coming days as we prepare for the new school year to begin!  We want to draw your attention to four specific events: New Parent Night, Freshman Orientation, Transfer Orientation, and Connect Retreats.

New Parent Night: Wednesday, August 20, 6:30-8:45 pm – for Parents
All parents of incoming freshmen and transfer students are welcome to attend, even if you have previously enrolled a student at Wheaton Academy. Our evening will include an opportunity to meet with Parent Ambassadors, meet with teachers, and hear from the Leadership Team. You will also learn first day of school logistics and have time to ask questions. Please RSVP today using this form.

Freshman Orientation: Friday, August 22, 9:00 am-12:30 pm – for Students
We’re excited to welcome your freshman student to campus for Orientation Day on Friday, August 22! This special day is designed to help students feel confident and prepared by giving them a preview of the first day of school. Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to:
• Connect with their Project IX Senior Leaders
• Walk through their class schedules
• Locate their lockers and practice their combinations
• Receive technology training – please make sure your student brings their laptop and charger
• Enjoy lunch in the Servery and Student Union – lunch is provided!
• Start building friendships with fellow classmates

Transfer Orientation: Friday, August 22, 1:00-3:00 pm – for Students
All Sophomore, Junior, and Senior transfer students are welcome to attend our Transfer Orientation on August 22, from 1:00-3:00 pm.  We will review important school culture information, tips for the first days of school, receive a custom tour of campus based on class schedule, and meet other Wheaton Academy students. RSVP HERE

Connect Retreat:  Wednesday, August 27, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
On August 27, the third full day of school, all students will participate in a Connect Retreat, a day-long experience built around growing teacher and student relationships to promote moments of connection and belonging. To learn more information about your student’s Connect Retreat Day, click HERE. Please note: All Freshman and Sophomore parents must complete this Connect Retreat Permission Form, and all Senior parents must complete this Connect Retreat Permission Form by the first day of school, Monday, August 25.

2025-2026 School Year Bell Schedule
We are looking forward to the new school year! The 2025-26 school year bell schedule may be found here. The first day of school is Monday, August 25. We will run a modified bell schedule during the first two weeks of school. You may see the first week bell schedule by clicking here. You may see the second week bell schedule by clicking here.

Picture Day!
Picture Day this year will be September 3 and September 4. A make-up/retake day will be October 8. Lifetouch will be set up in the Atrium from 8:00-1:30 on these days. It is very important that your student stop by to take his/her picture within the given time frame on one of those three days. There is no allotted time for students to take their pictures, so it is up to the student to ensure they get their picture taken. Before school, study hall, lunch, and passing periods are all great times to stop by! Please note, Lifetouch will be gone by the end of the day, so they will not be available after school. Please reach out to Miss Rusthoven (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org) with any questions. Thank you!

  • Please order books by August 15 to ensure arrival before school begins on August 25.

Driver’s Ed
In an effort to accommodate student schedules and extracurricular activities, Wheaton Academy offers after-school and summer driver’s education courses by hosting Excel Driving School. This year’s Driver’s Education Class Schedule can be found on the Families page and has a class starting in just a few weeks!

Thank you!

Thanks!

Laptop Pickup
Laptops must be set up by the student before orientation on Friday, August 22. If your student did not take Summer Academy, stop by the WA front desk to pick up your student’s computer and school ID. Laptops and school IDs will be available for pick up during office hours beginning Monday, August 4. Once you pick up your laptop, follow the instructions here to set it up before August 22

A student will not be allowed to participate in athletics (including tryouts), retreats, or any school-sponsored events without these forms. If you are a new family to Wheaton Academy, please click here to ensure you have completed all you need to before school begins. If you are a returning family, please click here to see and complete your checklist.
