Winterim classes begin on Monday, January 5. Students can view their courses and classroom locations in OnCampus. Here are a few important things to know about Winterim:

  • There is no late start on Wednesdays during Winterim. All classes begin at 8:00 am every day.

  • The dress code remains in effect.

  • Students are welcome to bring lunch from home, but our usual lunch menu will also be available for purchase. The soup and salad bar will not be available during Winterim.

Senior Picture Submission – Due Today, December 19
It’s time to submit senior pictures for the yearbook! For their senior year, students are able to choose a photo that they would like to submit to the yearbook as their senior portrait. Your student may have chosen to take their senior picture with Prestige over the summer or they may have had their photos taken through a different company. Either option is perfectly fine, but each requires different steps for submitting their photo.

If your student chose to take their photos with Prestige, Prestige will ask you which photo you would like to select for the yearbook and it will automatically be sent to us. If this is the option your student chose, please simply select the photo you want submitted to the yearbook, and no further action is needed. You are all set!

If your student had their photo taken with a different company, that is perfectly fine as well. However, since Wheaton Academy does not work directly with other companies, you will need to submit your chosen photo to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. Once you have sent in your student’s photo, you are good to go!

Please keep a few things in mind when selecting the photo you plan to submit to the yearbook:

  1. Please do not send in a cropped or altered photo. Our system will not allow us to import a screenshot or cropped photo. Please make sure to send the original photo via email to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. Please send the photo as a file, not a link. Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your student’s face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background. Due to the dimensions of the yearbook photo frame, all photos will be cropped from the shoulders up. You are welcome to send in a full body photo, but please understand that given the dimensions of the frame, it will need to be cropped. Please do not crop the photo before sending it as the program will not allow us to upload it. We will crop it when we import it.
  3. When emailing your student’s photo, please include their first and last name.

All photos must be submitted by December 19, 2025.

Returning Family Financial Aid Application Deadline Today, December 5
The financial aid application deadline for returning families is today, December 5, 2025. Like previous years, we have partnered with the financial aid processing company—Blackbaud Financial Aid. We hope to distribute financial aid decisions to returning families starting as early as mid-December and continuing through January. This timeline allows Wheaton Academy to grant aid awards to returning families before new family aid awards are considered, as over 80% of our financial aid awards are historically distributed by February.

For more information, please click this link: https://families.wheatonacademy.org/aid/

Please note: If you have an incoming student for the 2026-2027 school year, be sure to include them on your family’s financial aid application. Additionally, be sure your new incoming student is applied and accepted through our admissions process as soon as possible as we only award financial aid to accepted students.

How To Access Your PSAT Results
Students should have access to the scores for the PSAT test they took in October. Please watch this video for a step-by-step guide to viewing scores and interpreting the data: Understanding Your Digital PSAT Score Report. To access their score, students should do the following:

  1. Go to the following website: studentscores.collegeboard.org/home Student Score Reports.
  2. Have students create a College Board account if they do not have one already or log in to their account if they have an existing one.
  3. Have students write down their password/ username and share it with you so you can access it each year throughout high school.
  4. If they have issues with their login or password, they need to contact the College Board customer service phone number for more help. Wheaton Academy cannot assist with College Board account information or passwords.

Interested in Wheaton Academy—apply today!

REAL ID Needed for Senior Trip Flights
If your child is attending the Senior Trip and will be 18 years old at the time of travel, please be sure to have a real ID or a passport for boarding. This is now required to travel domestically.

From the travel website:
Illinois residents 18 and older who plan to fly domestically, or access certain federal facilities will need a REAL ID by May 7, 2025. If you do not get a REAL ID, you will need another federally accepted form of identification, such as a passport, to board a domestic flight or enter these facilities.

Please make an appointment to get a real ID ASAP. We will not be able to get your child on the airline flights without the Real ID or Passport.

Senior Ads for the Yearbook
Senior yearbook ads will be available for purchase again this year! Please follow this link if you would like to purchase an ad for your student. Size options include a quarter-page, half-page, or full-page ad. You will design your ad on the website, which will be directly imported into the yearbook – nothing needs to be sent to Wheaton Academy. Yearbook ads can be purchased until May 1, 2026. Please note that Jostens has changed its policy and no longer includes a free yearbook with ad purchase, so yearbooks will need to be purchased separately. You can purchase a yearbook using the same link as the link to the ads. Please contact Ms. Rusthoven with any questions (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org). Thanks!

Internship Information
At Wheaton Academy, we desire to create unique opportunities for students to engage in career-shaping opportunities to help them discover the way God has uniquely equipped them to positively impact the world. Wheaton Academy places such high value on these experiences that it is policy that all students must complete one internship during their four years of high school as a graduation requirement. Information about this requirement can be found at families.wheatonacademy.org/internships

In order to support students in finding and arranging meaningful internships, we have launched a new Internship Opportunities Page on the Families website. Students can browse opportunities with some of our business partners and find how to apply for each. Students wanting further support and guidance for their internship can visit Hannah White, our Internship Coordinator, in the Marketing office.
If you are a parent and are interested in hosting a Wheaton Academy student as an intern at your business please fill out this form to get your business featured on the opportunities page.

Financial Aid Now Open for Next School Year
Returning Family Financial Aid Application Deadline: December 5
The financial aid process at Wheaton Academy is officially open for the 2026-2027 school year. The financial aid application deadline for returning families is now Friday, December 5, 2025. We hope that this timeline will help both families and Wheaton Academy financially plan for the 2026-2027 year.

Like previous years, we have partnered with the financial aid processing company—Blackbaud Financial Aid. We then hope to distribute financial aid decisions to returning families starting as early as mid-December and continuing through January. This timeline allows Wheaton Academy to grant aid awards to returning families before new family aid awards are considered, as over 80% of our financial aid awards are historically distributed by February.

For more information, please click here Link: https://families.wheatonacademy.org/aid/

Please note: If you have an incoming student for the 2026-2027 school year, be sure to include them on your family’s financial aid application. Additionally, be sure your new incoming student is applied and accepted through our admissions process as soon as possible as we only award financial aid to accepted students.

Senior Picture Submission
Parents of Seniors, Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook.

Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your students face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background.

Senior Ads for the Yearbook
Senior yearbook ads will be available for purchase again this year! Please follow this link if you would like to purchase an ad for your student. In past years, a free yearbook was included with the purchase of an ad. Thanks!

Yearbook Orders
Order your 2025-2026 yearbook today! Yearbooks will be available for purchase until May 31, 2026. Please follow this link to order. Please reach out to Ms. Rusthoven (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org) with any questions. Thanks!

In past years, a free yearbook was included with the purchase of an ad. Thanks!

Senior Picture Submission
Parents of Seniors, Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook.

Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your students face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background.

Parent Interviews: Help Us Map Credit Transfers
Many of our students graduate with AP and Colorado Christian University credits, and we want to make sure families know exactly how to transfer them into freshman-year programs.  We know that the transfer process differs from person to person, but we also know many of you have navigated this process skillfully. If your student successfully transferred AP or CCU credits to their college, we’d love a brief 20-minute conversation (by phone, in person, or on Teams) to learn what worked. Your insights will shape practical guidance for current and future Wheaton Academy families.

To participate, please contact Luke Regan at lregan@wheatonacademy.org. Thank you for helping us serve future Warriors well!

2026-2027 Admissions Season Now Open!
We are excited to announce that the Application for the 2026-2027 School Year opened on Tuesday, Sept 16!  We invite you to APPLY NOW by visiting wheatonacademy.org/apply. Applicants who apply this fall will be considered for early decision (before Christmas time). Questions? Please contact Amy Burdett, Admissions Coordinator or Amy Hogan, Director of Admissions.

Yearbook Orders
Order your 2025-2026 yearbook today! Yearbooks will be available for purchase until May 31, 2026. Please follow this link to order. Please reach out to Ms. Rusthoven (krusthoven@wheatonacademy.org) with any questions. Thanks!

In past years, a free yearbook was included with the purchase of an ad. Thanks!

Senior Picture Submission
Parents of Seniors, Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook.

Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your students face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background.

Have You Considered Hosting an International Student?
Wheaton Academy welcomes students from around the world via our International Student Program. One of the most meaningful parts of their experience is living with a Christ-centered host family who offers not just a place to stay, but a home filled with care, encouragement, and belonging.  Join us to learn more about our hosting program on Thursday, October 9 at 7pm in the Pitch Room. Contact Marlina Visker (mvisker@wheatonacademy.org) or (630) 562-7573 for more information.

In past years, a free yearbook was included with the purchase of an ad. Thanks!

Senior Picture Submission
Parents of Seniors, Please begin thinking about the photo your student would like to submit to the yearbook.

Thank you!
  2. Please submit a forward facing, clear picture of your students face from the shoulders up, with a non-distracting background.
