We will meet at school at 2 pm on Sunday in front of the Fine Arts Center, with a luggage drop-off in the front circle by the atrium. We will return to WA’s campus around 5 pm on Monday, August 22.

For those who haven’t yet RSVP’d to this retreat, please note that a response is due today. Click HERE to RSVP to ensure your spot! After you complete the RSVP form, please be sure to click the link to pay a $30 registration fee.

IMPORTANT, time-sensitive materials are needed! In order to attend the retreat, each student needs to fill out and submit this waiver for the camp. Please fill out and return this waiver to the front office or email a signed copy to JHoltrop@wheatonacademy.org by today.

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Traffic Flow – Use Hawthorne Avenue to enter Campus and Prince Crossing Road to Exit **
We are requesting that all parents who are picking up and/or dropping off students before and after school please use the Hawthorne Avenue entrance ONLY. We are looking to keep open the north drive lane entirely for fire and police should that be needed. Pick-up and drop-off can occur in the central lot circle (please pull all the way through the lot), north drive main entrance circle (please pull all the way through), or in front of the Field House.  Please exit campus out Prince Crossing Road and head to the right out Prince Crossing Road. Should you anticipate waiting longer than 5 minutes, please pull into an open parking spot. Student drivers can still enter campus via either entrance to come to park.

Please click here for a campus map. Thank you for your assistance!

Announcing The Center for Lifelong Learning
This summer, the Tutoring Center changed its name to The Center for Lifelong Learning and adopted a broader vision, developed more offerings, and built a new space in which to supplement the advancement of your student’s academic performance. The Center’s mission is to be the academic performance center that builds lifelong learners. While we will still provide instruction in specific subjects, The Center will now work with students to address the different forces that come to bear on a student’s progress and ability to learn and function in an increasingly complex educational, college and career environment.

New for this academic year:

  • Academic Progress Testing and Planning. The Center is introducing the NWEA MAP Growth test as a tool to assess the level and progress of a student, regularly chart goals, and engineer learning to improve academic progress and performance.
  • Executive Functioning. Our Academic Coaches will teach students executive functioning skills, equipping them to be successful learners.
  • Learning Methods. Based on a student’s level and aptitude, our Academic Couches will adjust our approach to learning using adaptive learning and competency-based learning methods.
  • Unlimited Access.  We now offer unlimited access packages to enable students to use our services more frequently and conveniently in our expanded space.

Please visit our website, thecenterforlifelonglearning.org, to learn more about what we offer. We would love for you to come check out our new location in Wheaton Academy’s library and/or sign up for a free consultation.
