Two Wheaton Academy Seniors Named National Merit Semi-Finalists
Congratulations to Wheaton Academy’s National Merit Semi-Finalists Jeremy Kang and Daniel Olson! This award recognizes academically exceptional students and sets them apart in the college application process.

Over 1.5 million juniors entered the competition last year by taking the PSAT exam in October. Approximately sixteen thousand of these students—less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors—were selected as semifinalists in the 66th annual National Merit Scholarship program.  In February, NMSC notifies principals of their Semifinalists who have advanced to the Finalist level.

Six Wheaton Academy Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students
Congratulations to Jude Barton, Colton Gomoll, Noah Husted, Caroline Kelly, Jacqueline Ogden, and Thorin Phinney who were recognized as National Merit Commended Students for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not compete for National Merit Awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2022 competition.
