WA Women’s Prayer
Due to Grandparents Day, please note this adjustment for this week only that prayer time will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 2-3 pm. The dates for the rest of the school year are:
May 3 – Prayer with Seniors, May 10, and May 17. We gather in Luz’s apartment on campus just past the Alumni Relations Office from 1:30 -2:45 p.m. Please contact Mary Miller with your questions or prayer requests marym996.mac@mac.com.

All are welcome to join us for three upcoming concerts featuring students in Wheaton Academy’s music groups:

Saturday, April 30: Spring Instrumental Concert
All concerts start at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium and are free of charge. All are welcome!

Winterim Trips
Our Winterim trips are live! Please see the Families website here for more information and payment options. Applications are due May 3 by midnight. Complimentary Class of 2022 Yard Sign
Complete the form by May 2
Parents of graduating seniors–we would love to celebrate your student’s upcoming graduation with a complimentary yard sign. Please complete this form to indicate your family’s interest in a yard sign, and we will order one for your family. Please complete the form by May 2nd. We hope to have them delivered to the school for pick-up in mid-May.
Senior Graduation Details
Cap & Gown Delivery and Senior Class Photo
Jostens will be at Wheaton Academy on the morning of Monday, April 25, to deliver cap & gowns, announcements, etc. Orders will be available for pick-up in the Senior Lounge from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. ALL balances with Jostens must be paid in full at that time.
The senior class group photo will also be taking place after Community Time on the same day, April 25. If you already have graduation regalia and did not order from Jostens, please make certain that it is in good condition and bring it to school on April 25 for the photo. If you are a member of the National Honor Society, you will receive a gold tassel and cord at the senior class group photo session.
- Seniors are asked to dress professionally and neatly for the photo, including shoes – specifically:
Women: skirt & top or dress, pants, & dress shoes - Men: dress shirt and tie, dress pants & dress shoes
This is the only time a senior class photo will be taken. We cannot guarantee that students who do not attend school at this time will be photo-shopped into the picture. Therefore, please make sure your student is at school.
Senior Lunch and Graduation Practice, Tuesday, May 31, 12:00-2:30 p.m.
After finals on Tuesday, May 31, Seniors will meet in the Commons for lunch, then travel to Wheaton College for graduation practice. Attendance at this practice is mandatory. Seniors will receive more details as the date draws closer.
Baccalaureate Service, Friday, June 3, 7:00 p.m. WA Fine Arts Center
Please join us for a time of worship and prayer over our graduating seniors.
Commencement Ceremony, Sunday, June 5, 3:00 p.m. Wheaton College, Edman Chapel
We are pleased that the commencement ceremony will return to Wheaton College. More details will follow, but there will be no limit to seating for families and no tickets needed to attend.

Summer Serve
Come and serve at Wheaton Academy this summer! Summer Serve provides an opportunity to volunteer in a variety of capacities to make an impact on the presentation of our school facilities and help with projects to control costs and allow for a smooth transition into the fall. Summer Serve will be June 13- 17 and July 18-21. You can sign for just a day, or come for more, as we get the school ready for the next school year! Sign up using this form to join us this summer.

Annual Asbestos Notice – 2022
This notice meets a legal requirement to inform you annually that Wheaton Academy continues to meet all federal and state laws concerning asbestos in schools. All of our educational facilities have been thoroughly inspected, and inspections continue bi-annually by a state-certified asbestos firm, as is required by law. We continue to carry out all other specific requirements of the “AHERA” legislation, including the maintenance of a management plan. Our management plan is available for your review in the business office located in the Armour building during normal business hours. We welcome your questions and input as we continue to meet the necessary requirements and seek to implement any necessary precautions.
