Summer Serve
Come and serve at Wheaton Academy this summer! Summer Serve provides an opportunity to volunteer in a variety of capacities to make an impact on the presentation of our school facilities and help with projects to control costs and allow for a smooth transition into the fall. Summer serve will be July 7-9. You can sign up for just a day, or come for more, as we get the school ready for the next school year! Sign up using this form to join us this summer.

General News

Back-to School Information
A back-to-school email with important dates and information will go out to all families today from Angie Roberts. Information can also be found on our back to school web pages here:

2026-27 Class Schedules
Schedules are available to view in OnCampus. As you look at your student’s schedules, please note the following.

  • Look at both semesters and if your student has a “Contact Student Services” in either semester, please contact Angie Roberts, aroberts@wheatonacademy.org, to resolve the schedule issue.
  • Make sure your student has a PE in their schedule.
  • Please contact Angie Roberts (aroberts@wheatonacademy.org) by July 2 to request schedule changes.

A Note from the Nurses Office:
Back-to-School Forms are available to be completed now in August schools (our online health information portal). You can find this by logging in to OnCampus from the families tab and scrolling down to the August schools tile.  You will need to fill out these for all returning and new students by September 1. Please note, there is a small issue with this year’s form; if your child does not need an EpiPen, inhaler or medication, you can disregard the forms, and they will be deleted when your packet is reviewed.

Here are a few reminders:

  • All incoming freshmen or transfer students will need to provide a physical and immunization record.
  • All students in the class of 2027 will need to provide proof of a second meningococcal vaccine.
  • Any student planning on playing football will need to provide a physical by August 5. Any student trying out for any other fall sport will need to provide the physical by August 10. If your child’s current physical is still valid, you may upload that but will need to provide a new one by the day it will expire which is 395 days after the date of exam.
  • The Activities Packet is required for all athletes and must be signed before trying out for a sport. We encourage all other students to complete these forms just in case they change their mind or are participating in a non-IHSA sport (disc club, rock climbing, furnace, etc).

If you have any additional questions, please email Jenn Sezonov at jsezonov@wheatonacademy.org

Athletics

Introducing Our New Athletics Website
We are excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new athletics website.

GoBound replaces these tools you may currently use:

  • Our athletics website — the new site is your updated home for team information, schedules, athletic news, and tickets
  • Playmetrics — registration and payment for summer camps, team trip and team fees will now be handled through GoBound
  • rSchool Today — GoBound’s calendar combines academic and athletic events in one place, with filters by sport or event type. The GoBound calendar is also reflected on our families site here: https://families.wheatonacademy.org/detail-calendar/

Download the GoBound app for iOS or Android to access schedules, purchase event tickets, receive notifications, and stay connected with your athlete’s team. Coaches can also use the app to message parents directly.
