Summer Academy Information

We are excited that you will be joining us for Summer Academy this year and wanted to share some vital information that previews events for new students, outlines expectations, and communicates information on needed forms.

The first day of Summer Academy is Monday, June 8 and the last day is Friday, June 26. There will be no Summer Academy on Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth).

Morning classes:
8:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Afternoon classes:
12:45-5:00 p.m.

All-day classes:
8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

For New Students

New families – Join us for Summer Academy New Family Orientation on Wednesday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. Student Dell Laptops will be available for pickup that evening, starting at 6:30 p.m.

  • Students at Wheaton Academy have had a personal device since 2013, and students currently use Dell Latitude 3340 devices.
  • All new students who are enrolled in a Summer Academy class can pick up their device before summer school begins in June and therefore keep the device over the summer. It will be the same device they use for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • The devices will be available for pickup starting on Thursday, June 4 from 8:00am-4:00pm in the Front Office. They will also be available for pick-up at 6:30pm in the Student Union on Wednesday, June 3.
    • School IDs can also be picked up at the same time. Please note that we will use the picture you submitted at the time of your student’s admission application for your student’s Student ID. If you’d like to use a different picture, please email this picture to Rachel Chaney by June 1.
  • Instructions for Dell Device set up can be found here.
  • New students will receive training on how to use the new device and OnCampus (Wheaton Academy’s learning management system) in class.  A representative from the IT department will visit class for the training.  We ask that students spend time following instructions for device setup at home prior to the first day of class.

Wheaton Academy uses the OnCampus portal for classes, communication, and other log-in platforms. Both parents and students have separate log-in accounts.

Within this OnCampus system, families will find direct links to August Schools, Tuition Management, PushCoin, Scoir, student grades, & student schedules. Click here for the login page to OnCampus. If you have issues, please contact Angie Roberts in Student Services.

Students will receive their own OnCampus login information along with their Dell Latitude.

Once you log in to OnCampus, you will have access to the August Schools Portal, which is where we collect all of your student’s medical forms and school forms. All forms listed below need to be uploaded/submitted by June 5 (before Summer Academy begins). Once you log into OnCampus, you will notice an “August Schools” button on your Parent page. Click it and you will find the following forms:

  • Back-to School Forms
  • Activities Packet
  • Consent to Treatment of a Minor
  • Parent Standards of Conduct
  • Annual Event Participation/Permission
  • Driving/Riding Permission Form
  • Permission for Over the Counter Medication
  • Care Plans (ex. Asthma, Severe Allergies, etc. if applicable)

The following exam forms are due by September 1st (if you are trying out for a Fall sport, physicals need to be in before August 11):

  • Dental (9th Grade Only)

  • Physical (if you are trying out for a sport, they are due by August 1)

You may upload them now if they have them completed. You will receive reminders directly from August Schools as the deadlines get closer.

If you have any questions about forms, please contact:

IMPORTANT NOTE: All required August Schools forms MUST be complete BEFORE a student will be allowed to participate in athletics (including tryouts), retreats, or any school sponsored event.
