Spiritual Life Week February 6-10
Parents, be in prayer for Spiritual Life Week February 6-10. Our theme this year is “Masterpiece” and based on Ephesians 2:10. In the context of our year theme “Story,” Spiritual Life week will focus on our identity in Christ and the truth that we are God’s workmanship, His handiwork, His masterpiece. Each of us is created in God’s image, unconditionally loved by him, and has been given good works to do for the glory of His Kingdom.
Our speakers for the week are incredibly gifted communicators and will bring the scripture to life for our students. Monday & Tuesday — Markus McFolling is a national speaker from Canton, Ohio. He has a powerful testimony and an incredible passion to preach God’s Word.
Wednesday & Thursday — Jon Jorgenson is a national speaker from Chicago. His experience as a spoken word poet and former Broadway actor brings creativity and connection to his preaching. Friday’s chapel will be a time of worship and commitment led by Bridge Worship from The Bridge Community Church in DesPlaines.
In addition to daily chapels…
- Prayer Breakfast Wednesday morning from 8:00-8:45 am. All students are invited for breakfast and a time of prayer for our school.
- Worship Night Thursday from 7:00-8:00 pm in the White Chapel. All students are invited for a time of worship, prayer, and reflection led by Bridge Worship from The Bridge Community Church in DesPlaines.
- An offering will be received throughout the week for our ongoing work with Kids Alive in the Dominican Republic.
We will run a modified bell schedule all week which you may access by clicking here.

Senior Ads for Yearbooks!
Parents – Senior yearbook ads will again be available for purchase this year for $150 per quarter-page ad. If you order a senior ad, you do not need to order a yearbook through the Jostens website as that fee is included in the $150. The deadline for the ads is March 11. To purchase an ad, you will need to follow this link and select the size you would like to create. More information is explained within your purchase options. You will then need to send your ad’s content (both pictures and written messages) in a single email to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. You may click here for an example of the ad size and layout. The yearbook staff will gladly design the ad for you after confirmation of receipt of these two things! Any questions? Please email yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. Thank you!
