WA Men’s Prayer

On the second Saturday of every month, the men from Wheaton Academy meet to pray and hear from one of our faculty/staff members. Please join us Saturday, December 13. We will hear from WA Instrumental teacher and Fine Arts Department Head, Steve Willemssen. Light refreshments are served.

Christmas Soirée

Meet in the FAC
Monday, December 6, will be the final day to purchase tickets for the Christmas Soirée. All students are invited to attend the soirée on December 16.

Bus signups for transportation will be on December 7 & 8 during lunch in the Atrium. All students attending must sign up for a bus. If you have any questions, please contact Jim Holtrop.

We have started up a weekly podcast that looks at the past week in sports at Wheaton Academy. Matt Hockett analyzes the stats from the latest athletic contests and gives you must-know information about what is upcoming. Endowed Scholarships
The Wheaton Academy 2022-2023 endowed scholarship application is now open.  To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must complete the online application by January 15, 2022.  For more details about each scholarship and/or to complete the online application, visit https://wheatonacademy.org/affordable/endowed-scholarships/.

Financial Aid Applications: New Deadline of December 31 for Returning Families 
Wheaton Academy Financial Aid applications for the 2022-2023 year are now open and must be completed by December 31, 2021—a new deadline this year. All families who will need to apply for aid will be required to complete a financial aid application through FACTS®. 

This requirement includes any family who has received or may qualify for an SGO scholarship (Empower IL and Children’s Tuition scholarships). Please read additional information and further instructions here.

Senior Pictures
The end of the first semester is coming fast! If you have not submitted your child’s yearbook picture, please send it in before Christmas break. Pictures should be sent to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. We need front-facing and shoulder-up portraits only.

Senior Ads for Yearbooks!
Parents – Reminder that senior yearbook ads will again be available for purchase this year for $150 per quarter-page ad. If you order a senior ad, you do not need to order a yearbook through the Jostens website as that fee is included in the $150.  The deadline for the ads is March 12. Ads can be sent to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org. A check payable to Wheaton Academy may be sent to the attention of Jim Holtrop in the front office. You may click here for an example of the ad size and layout. The yearbook staff will gladly design the ad for you if you send in the photo images and the message you would like included.

2020-2021 Yearbooks
Yearbooks from last school year have been distributed to all students who ordered them ahead of time through Jostens’ website. We have leftover copies now available to sell to students who did not order. While we have copies remaining, they will be for sale at the Front Office for $25. Cash or a check made payable to Wheaton Academy will be accepted forms of payment. Email yearbook@wheatonacademy.org with any questions!

COVID Update
This week, Wheaton Academy has had one positive Covid case.  Gratefully, our campus has experienced low or no Covid case numbers for several weeks.  As a result, we will return to periodic announcements.
