General News

2024-2025 Bell Schedule
We are excited for school to begin on Monday, August 26. The first week of school we will run a modified bell schedule of 7-period days, with Tuesday being the Connect Retreats. Please click here for the first week’s bell schedule. For the regular bell schedule for 2024-2025, please click here.

Schedules
Mrs. Roberts is not making any more schedule changes between now and the first day of school. After the first day of school, schedule changes will be on a case-by-case, limited basis.

Please make sure your student checks their schedules before the first day of school as the order of their classes may have changed due to the balancing of classes.

Geneva Road Construction
We wanted to make families aware that there is a detour on Geneva Road if you travel westbound. The detour begins at Winfield Road. Please be sure to add time to your commute if this is the direction you take to come to Wheaton Academy.

Student Parking Registration
Online parking registration began on August 12, 2024.  Starting on August 19 at 9:00 AM, students can pick up their parking decal and pick out their parking spot for the 2024-25 school year, provided their vehicle has been registered and the spot paid for.  Picking out a parking spot will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upperclassmen will be given priority in the North Lot. Please contact Kermit Elison with questions kellison@wheatonacademy.org. Click here to signup and pay for the pass.

Textbook Acquisition for the 2024-2025 School Year
Families are responsible for purchasing or renting books for their student(s). Wheaton Academy has worked with our bookstore company, eCampus, to provide each family a convenient option to purchase or rent books.

Families can shop for each student’s books using eCampus’ “Shop by Schedule” option on their website. Then, eCampus will ship the purchased or rented books directly to each family’s home. Here are some important things to note:

  • New families – If you have not yet received your student’s Dell Latitude or student email address, you may visit Student Services Monday-Thursday from 8 AM – 4 PM to pick it up.
  • All books must be shipped to your home, not Wheaton Academy.
  • Please order books by August 14 to ensure arrival before school begins on August 26.
  • You must use your student’s Wheaton Academy email (lastname@walearner.org) to order books.
  • If you have more than one student at Wheaton Academy, you will need each student’s email and must log in separately for each student, as their schedule information automatically populates the customized booklist through their email.

For details steps on how to order books, click here.

Excel Driving School
In an effort to accommodate student schedules and extracurricular activities, Wheaton Academy offers after-school and summer driver’s education courses by hosting Excel Driving School. This year’s Driver’s Education Class Schedule can be found on the Families page and has a class starting in August.
