EVENT SPOTLIGHT Co-Curricular EXPO
Monday, April 18
Do you know a student who is in graduating Class of 2026 (incoming freshman) or someone wanting to transfer to WA? How about a junior high student in 6th or 7th grade who would love to be a future Warrior? Invite them to the Co-Curricular EXPO on April 18, 5:45 -8:30 p.m. This event is designed for prospective, newly enrolled, and incoming transfer families. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!
This interactive and engaging experience will show families the many ways their students can be involved from center stage to mid-field. Meet teachers, talk with other students who have similar interests, hear from coaches, and learn about the latest scholastic or academic club that takes a student’s hobbies or interests to the next level. Encourage them to bring the whole family! There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
If you would like to help us make this day successful, volunteer to be a part of the setup crew!
Co-Curricular EXPO Set up Crew
Friday, April 22
The Junior class would like to invite all Juniors and Seniors to attend the Junior/Senior Formal on April 22. All WA Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend an evening of hors-d’oeuvres, desserts, dancing, trivia, and community. The event will be held at Company 251 in Aurora. Tickets will be on sale April 11-14, during lunch, in the Atrium for $70.00 per person. Push-coin will be available. This night is for our WA students and a date is not required! If you have any questions, please email Jim Holtrop.
With the decreasing amount of COVID illnesses as well as the decreasing need for extended quarantines/absences, Wheaton Academy will no longer be offering Zoom classes. Students were informed this week that this will take effect on Monday, April 11. We will return to all in-person classes, and if a student is sick or needs to miss school, it will be counted as an absence. If special circumstances should arise in your family, and you would like to discuss them with an administrator, parents may reach out to Vice Principal, Brad Thornton.
