2026 Overview of Winterim Courses
January 5-16 2026
Morning Session: 8am – 11am
Lunch 11am – 11:40am
Afternoon Session: 11:45am – 2:45pm
Course Registration
All students will be registering for Winterim 2026 courses using OnCampus. Courses may not be repeated from one year to the next unless otherwise indicated in the course description.
Each class will register on the corresponding date (see below).
- Seniors – November 3, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Juniors – November 5, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Sophomores – November 10, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Freshmen – November 12, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Attendance
Due to the concentrated framework of Winterim, consistent attendance is very important. Even one class missed is a significant absence and may result in no credit being awarded for the class. Winterim credits are required toward graduation credit. Parents are strongly discouraged from stretching Christmas vacation into Winterim. Each absence will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account the purpose or reason of the absence, as well as the student’s past academic and attendance records
Credits
All morning and afternoon courses receive one-half of a semester credit (.5) each while full-day courses receive a full (1.0) semester credit. Each student is required to earn one full Winterim credit per year as a graduation requirement.
Lunch
Students are welcome to bring a lunch from home, but we will have our usual lunch menu available for purchase. There will not be soup or salad bar during Winterim.
