School-wide Testing Day, Wednesday, October 23
On Tuesday of this week, an email was sent to all school families regarding our school-wide testing day on October 23. If your student is in 9th-11th grade, please click here to read the letter. Grades 9-11 will take the suite of PSAT. If your student is a 12th grader, you may click here. 12th-graders will take the ACT. Please contact Gina Churchill if you have any questions. For details on what students should bring to school that day and test times, please click here
Online Testing and Internet Filtering Software
WA parents, please be advised that parental control software used to filter Internet content (highly recommended for use at home!) may interfere with the software used to administer the PSAT and ACT that our students will be taking on Wednesday, October 23. You may want to disable that software for the morning, just to avoid any issues. It is also possible to exempt specific websites instead of turning it off altogether. The required URLs for the ACT are listed on page 7 of the TestNav technical guide (seniors will use this software), or for the PSAT you can just exempt .collegeboard.org and sentry.io Please test that beforehand by logging in to the software.

Senior Picture Submission
It’s time to submit senior pictures for the yearbook! If your student booked an appointment with Prestige Photography to have their picture taken on campus over the summer, and that is the picture your student wants to include in the yearbook, you are good to go! Prestige will automatically send us that photo and no further action is needed.
If you did not use Prestige Photography for your student’s senior portraits, that is no problem, but we will need you to submit a photo of your own to be included in the yearbook. Photos need to be submitted by December 20 to be included in the yearbook publication. We require a forward-facing portrait taken from the shoulders up, with a plain/non-distracting background. Please note that if you send in a full-body image, it will be cropped from the shoulders up as the yearbook file is not large enough to accommodate a full-body photo. Please submit your student’s chosen picture via email to yearbook@wheatonacademy.org along with your student’s first and last name. Thank you!
