Commencement
Sunday, June 6
3:00 p.m. (Gates open at 2:30)
Performance Trust Field
Thank you for your patience as we plan for a commencement service on campus in place of Wheaton College’s Edmund Chapel. In a previous communication, we had mentioned that each family would receive a minimum of four tickets. As we have reviewed current guidance in Illinois for gatherings, we no longer need to limit the number of guests for our ceremony. We will provide seating on Performance Trust Field for nearly 1500. If you do not get a seat on the field, there will be additional seating in the bleachers as well as room for guests to set up their own chairs outside of the stadium (viewing from a distance is possible thanks to our jumbotron). The gate will open at 2:30 p.m. for general admission seating.
Summer Academy
Summer Academy starts Wednesday, June 9. Teachers and room numbers will be posted in the Atrium and in Student Services on the first day. If you have not received any information regarding Summer Academy and had planned on your student taking summer classes, please contact Angie Roberts, aroberts@wheatonacademy.org, as soon as possible.
The lunch hour will be from 12:00 to 1:00pm each day for all classes. Both new and returning students will need to preorder lunch through PushCoin during Summer Academy if they would like a school lunch. The deadline for preordering lunches is the Thursday evening before the following week of school. Lunch price is $6.50. ORDER DEADLINE FOR FIRST WEEK OF SUMMER SCHOOL IS THURSDAY, JUNE 3 AT 9PM. NO SAME DAY PURCHASES WILL BE AVAILABLE.
New students will receive their PushCoin code to set up and fund their PushCoin account. Instructions regarding Pushcoin setup may be found here: https://families.wheatonacademy.org/food-services/pushcoin/
Students may also bring their own lunch.
