Opportunity to Host an International Student in Your Home
The International Department is looking for a few more host homes, specifically for boys for the fall. Please contact Julie Grant (International Host Family and Student Coordinator) at jgrant@wheatonacademy.org for more information. This is a great ministry opportunity and a monthly stipend is also provided.

Note About Incoming Emails from Wheaton Academy
Wheaton Academy uses Active Campaign to send a large portion of our parent emails. Please be sure to check your junk/spam emails periodically, especially at the beginning of the school year when new distribution lists are created. If you find them in junk/spam, mark them as “non-junk” and they should go directly into your inbox with the next bulk email. At the end of July, the new WA Weekly list will be generated, so you will want to check for that as well.

Lost and Found
If you think you may have lost an item during the year stop by and check out our lost in found in the commons no later than Friday, July 8. We will be donating any remaining items that are left after this date.

Molly Grace, a wonderful photographer, and friend of Wheaton Academy provided a gallery of professional photos taken at graduation. The photos are available for you to download from our resource page. Lifetouch Photography also took photos. You may go to Events.Lifetouch.com to find the photos from Lifetouch that you may purchase.

Book Rentals for 2022-2023 – Textbook Acquisition Form in Magnus
For the 2022-2023 school year, each family will be required to indicate whether they wish to OPT-IN to ALL ACCESS and have Wheaton Academy place the book rental orders for them or OPT-OUT and purchase/rent all books on their own. This Textbook Acquisition Form is located with all the other Back-to-School forms in Magnus. The textbook form needs to be completed by July 22, 2022. Your family will automatically be placed in the OPT-IN category if the form is not completed by July 22, and your Smart Tuition account will be billed in September.  You must complete the form for each student who is enrolled. Please contact Jenn Trott with any questions. Booklists are now available on the Wheaton Academy website.

Athletics

Swag Store
If you order any “WA Swag Store” items off our website in the months of June and July, you can pick them up at the front desk between the hours of 9:00 am-3:00 pm.  The Athletic Office will not be consistently open during the summer months. 

Fall Sports
For those of you who are planning your vacations this summer, the following Fall Sports will begin on Monday, August 8: Boys and Girls Cross Country, Football, Boys and Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, Girls Volleyball, and Boys Soccer.  Please plan your vacations in order to have your athlete back for the beginning of tryouts on August 8. *IMPORTANT*-  Your athlete must have a valid Physical and the Athletic Packet completed and uploaded onto Magnus in order for them to try out on August  8.  Please be scheduling your doctor’s appointments early so you can get into your health care provider,  and get your physicals completed!
