Business & Innovation Program Volunteer Kick-Off Event
Wednesday, August 4
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
A recent Gallup poll suggests that many students in the U.S have entrepreneurial aspirations. 77% of students in grades 5-12 say they want to be their own boss, 45% say they plan to start their own business, and 42% say they will invent something that changes the world. At Wheaton Academy, we are preparing Christian leaders to have this type of impact.
We need your help! As a coach, subject matter expert, mentor, or Intern Host, you can make a difference by sharing your expertise and partnering with us to bring real-world business experience and a biblical worldview to our students as they explore. Please mark your calendars for a Business & Innovation Program Volunteer Kick-Off Event in the Library on Wednesday, August 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
We are excited to develop the Christian business leaders of the future and hope you will partner with us. Please feel free to reach out to email@example.com should you have any questions at any time.
Sophomore and Junior Retreats
As we look ahead to the 2021-2022 school year, we are so excited to offer the opportunity for Sophomore and Junior students to gather as a class before the academic year begins. Wheaton Academy is hosting an overnight retreat in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, from Sunday, August 15 – Monday, August 16 for both the Sophomore and Junior classes. This retreat is designed to help students build community with one another, hear from Faculty members, and participate in fun recreational activities to prepare for the new school year and bond as a class. Please click on your class link below to find out more information and RSVP to ensure your spot! After your fill out the registration form, be sure to click the link to pay the $30 registration fee.
Tuesday, August 17

This day is designed to help your freshman student start well at Wheaton Academy as we discuss details for the first day of school, jump-start their mentorship with Project IX seniors, and establish friendships with their peers. Freshmen may pick up their books either before or after this event in the Commons. For more information and sign-up, click here.

Will You Partner with us in our Mission?
Did you know that Wheaton Academy provides over $2M in financial assistance to over one-third of Academy students each year? This would not be possible, however, without the generosity of our faithful supporters. Would you prayerfully consider a financial gift today? Your gift on behalf of our mission directly impacts our students as they are molded and shaped into young men and women who understand every discipline in light of the truth of the Gospel. Thank you for partnering with us in our mission as the Lord leads you. Click here to provide a gift.
If your son or daughter is interested in taking guitar lessons at Wheaton Academy after school, please click here for more information or contact Evan Jasper at firstname.lastname@example.org or 630-520-1478.
OnCampus Login Changes
Parents, on July 8, your OnCampus login was changed to be more secure. You should have received an email from email@example.com with an invitation to create a Blackbaud ID. Please follow those directions. OnCampus remains the same; it is only your login password that will need to be reset. If you encounter difficulties or need the invitation re-sent, please contact Bob Vishanoff firstname.lastname@example.org.
Book Lists for Families who OPTED-OUT
If you chose to OPT-OUT of Wheaton Academy purchasing your book order for you, and plan to rent/buy your own books, the book lists for courses are available on our website. You will need to go to Families and click on the eCampus Bookstore link. Once you get to the bookstore, choose the ORDER NOW box and search for your student’s course names to see which books are needed for your student’s schedule. You do not need to rent/buy the books from eCampus. However, this is the location where you will find the books for each course. Important Note: You need to rent/purchase all books listed even if they are listed as Optional. The Optional reference is an internal note for the book company, not for our families to think the books are optional. Please contact Jenn Trott if you have questions.
Fall Schedule Changes
The deadline for schedule changes is August 4. Student Services will not make any more schedule changes until after the first day of school, and those changes will be limited. Contact Angie Roberts in Student Services to make any changes or work out conflicts.
We are excited to have sports being played again and look forward to the upcoming fall sports season! As we look ahead, we want to give you information about the upcoming Fall Sports seasons:
- First Day Of Tryouts– All Fall sports will begin on Monday, August 9, 2021.
