COVID-19 Update
Over the last week, we have had three individuals test positive for COVID-19, and there are six students in quarantine. We have followed the same protocols, contacting those who have been in close contact with any positive individual, instructing them to quarantine at home for the appropriate time. As we begin second semester, we appreciate your continued vigilance.  We know how vital in-person instruction is for student learning and discipleship, and we look forward to continuing on-campus with your help.

Personnel Update

Dear WA Parents,
We wanted to make you aware that  English/Bible teacher Matt Dominguez has decided to leave Wheaton Academy prior to the beginning of second semester after 20 years of service at Wheaton Academy.  For 2nd semester, WA alum Autumn Ratliff ’15 has taken over Mr. Dominguez’s English 2 classes, and English teacher Brad Skeba has taken over Mr. Dominguez’s Shakespeare class.

Please read Mr. Dominguez’s statement below, as well as the attached letter Mr. Dominguez sent to faculty and staff.

“After clear and consistent confirmation of a word from God in early October that it was time to transition beyond WA, and after much prayer, fasting, discussion, and consideration, and after 20 years of service, I have decided it is time for me to transition out of my roles of teaching full time and directing the adventure program at Wheaton Academy. I want the community to know that I am grateful to have had the honor to adventure with my amazing friends, students, and colleagues for 20 wonderful years at Wheaton Academy. “

Please join us in prayer for the Dominguez family as they pursue what God has for them in the next chapter of their journey.
