Organization: Compass Church
Location: Chicagoland Suburbs – 7 campuses
Overview: Students will be actively working in one area of ministry (Worship Arts, Childrens, etc) seeing the day in and day out activity of this specific job within the campus serving, as well as at a multi-site level.
Students, in addition to their work with a pastor or director at The Compass Church, will participate in a once a week lunch cohort with other interns for further mentoring and discussion on ministry related topics to get a broader understanding of life in ministry and at a multi-site church.

Overview: Our internship offers hands-on exposure to both music education and arts management within an active, community-based music studio. Interns will support private lessons and rehearsals, assist with recital and event preparation, and help with basic studio operations such as scheduling and organization. Through observation and participation, interns will learn effective teaching strategies, foundational vocal and performance techniques, and how students progress over time. They will also gain insight into running a creative small business, including communication with families, event planning, and inclusive teaching practices that serve students of all ages and abilities.

We are also expanding to sell pet-related products so if product design/management is something students are interested in we will be able to help them widen their horizon that way too!

Overview: The St. Charles Public Library Foundation is seeking 1-2 student interns to assist the Library’s Art Committee on a project. The committee is creating an interactive online map for a tour of the library’s art collection. The map will show locations, titles, and brief descriptions of key art pieces in the collection. The role of the intern is to assist with the research of the art work and writing the descriptions for each piece. In addition, we will need someone to photograph the work.
These responsibilities can be distributed between two interns [research and photography] or all responsibilities to one depending on skill set and student interest.
The work would be on site at the St. Charles Public Library alongside staff. Hours are flexible throughout the summer and can be scheduled around other summer commitments.

Applicant must have passed at least 1 Video editing course at Wheaton Academy. Student must be skilled and able to set up camera, lighting, and audio for formal interviews, plan and film a video geared toward a professional audience, edit and deliver video meeting deadlines, and ability to receive feedback and revise work based on feedback.
