You and your whole family are invited to be part of the Homecoming Family Tailgate, Thursday, September 22 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the parking lot next to Performance Trust Field. The Project Lead Global team hosts this event as a fundraiser for the 24 vulnerable children Wheaton Academy sponsors through Kids Alive International. For a donation of $5 per person with a cap of $25 for a family, you will receive a yummy walking taco dinner and will be able to hang out and play fun yard games, face painting, and more.  The Shack will also be selling ANIJA cinnamon rolls, with proceeds going to Kids Alive International. Each grade can also earn homecoming points when they and their families attend.  Meals can be purchased by cash or using PushCoin.

Please come for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and football! If you have any questions, please contact Valerie Gregersen or Tate Fritz. We hope to see you and your family there.

Off-Campus Learning Day
Monday, September 26

Monday, September 26 our faculty and staff will be participating in professional development. As a result, students will have an off-campus learning day. Students should plan to allocate the same amount of time for schoolwork as they would for a traditional on-campus day (approximately 7 hours). Teachers will make expectations clear to our students, and they will be able to access all work via OnCampus.

See You at the Pole

8:15 a.m.

See You at the Pole is a time of prayer on the fourth Wednesday of September when students around the country meet at their school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. All students are invited to join us on Wednesday, September 28, at 8:15 a.m. in front of the White Chapel to pray with our student body!

Upcoming Opportunities to Serve During Homecoming
We are coming upon some of our busiest days and greatest time of need for volunteers. Homecoming (September 19-24) is around the corner! We invite you to review these sign-ups and see if any are of interest to you. We especially need help to serve our Wheaton Academy Alumni. Please consider volunteering today so we can adequately plan these events. We can’t do this without the help of our parent community! Thank you for serving Wheaton Academy with your time and talents.
