Whether this is your first child at Wheaton Academy or your fifth, starting at a new school is a significant event. We invite parents of all freshman and transfer students to attend these important events on Thursday, August 15. The evening begins with a New Parent Tech Briefing in the Library at 5:30 p.m. New parents need to attend, and the Surface Pro 6s will be distributed at the end of that meeting. (Families who are not new to WA, even if their student is new, do NOT need to attend the tech briefing. Surface Pro 6s for returning families can be picked up in the I.T. office Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by the students themselves). New Parent Night begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Library. You will learn about Wheaton Academy culture, build relationships with other WA families, learn about our parent partnership, as well as learn about other key details in how to navigate here. During the same time, all transfer students will gather in the Learn Lab (2nd floor of the Academic Building) for Transfer Student Orientation. We will meet together with other Wheaton Academy students and learn about school culture, answer questions, and review the details needed for the first day of school. Transfer students will receive locker assignments and class schedules at this time as well. We hope to see you there!
